What to do on Nusa Penida
With an area of 200 square kilometres, besides enjoying the best diving spots in Nusa Penida, there are plenty of other things to do and places to visit on Nusa Penida. Below are a few of the highlights our island has to offer. We can easily help organise a day tour for you, or give you some advice on how to reach these sites on motorbike.
Goa Giri Putri temple
Located in Karang Sari, this temple is a special place for the Balinese people but also a very interesting one to visit as it is...underground! You will be required to wear a sarong to enter and a small donation is expected for the temple. The giant cave that serves as the temple is underground, so getting inside might require a little bit of agility. You may not be allowed entry if there is a ceremony on that day.
Explore the stunning beaches
It is very easy to rent a motorbike here or find a car with a driver for a day. Some of the roads around Nusa Penida can be difficult to manage on a motorbike, so we advise to go for the car option if you are not comfortable driving a moped.
The scenery of the island is breath-taking and you will not be short on gorgeous photos to take home. Atuh Beach is surrounded by cliffs and has a rock arch at the front. Crystal Bay is the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh coconut or a cool beer while watching the sunset. Kelinking Beach is one of the most famous spots on the island, thanks to the stretch of rocks extending into the ocean.
Other great viewpoints include Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and many more...ask us for info when you arrive and we will be happy to tell you about the coolest spots to visit in Nusa Penida! Check out our favourite beaches here.
Enjoy the island life
