Kelingking, the must-see attraction (and top Instagrammable site)
This beautiful Nusa Penida beach has to be earned as the long walk down and back up again is as treacherous as it is crowded and hot, but what a lush place when you get there. If you want to take great pictures, sunrise or sunset are the best times to go and you will be cooler, have fewer crowds and beautiful shadows. Don't forget to take an iconic selfie but watch your steps: many have fallen trying to get the perfect shot.
The magical arena: Broken beach
Broken Beach is a one-of-a-kind rock formation and great for photos. You can get some great shots from the shore above or can also, if your budget allows, hire a boat to in from the sea. It is close to the Angel Billabong cliff pool. Here again, watch your step when taking pictures and be aware of waves and other people.
Atuh and Diamond Beach, incredible rock formations
Certain spots like Atuh Beach and Diamond Beach will definitely benefit from higher vantage points to really do these beautiful beaches justice. If you fancy something more personal though, the trek down is not too hard, even with a big camera/ tripod and you can get some great shots from the beach.
Peguyangan , the perfect pool
The walk down to Peguyangan is not for the faint-hearted. Once you've braved the steep blue steps clinging to the sheer cliff wall you are rewarded with a beautiful natural pool full of pure spring water. A perfectly Instagrammable rest in an idyllic spot. A great place for photos just make sure you have a good bag and shoes and two free hands for the hike down.
