The PADI Drift diving specialty course gives you the tools to really enjoy the experience safely and avoid common errors, all under the direct supervision of you PADI instructor.

PADI Drift - course description

The PADI Drift course consists of 2 dives.  During the course you will learn:

-Special planning and organisation techniques for current diving

-Buoyancy control, entry and exit, communication and navigation in currents

-Overview of currents, what to look out for on a dive site, tides, moons etc

-Specialist equipment, including delayed surface marker buoy use.

Schedule: 

Day 1: Meet 7:30am.  Two dives separated by 1 hour surface interval. Return to the dive centre by 1pm where lunch will be served (included in the price)

Your theory will be sent to you ahead of time and you can complete at your own pace bebefore the course.

Certification

After successful completion of the PADI Drift Diver course, you will be receive the related certification. 

What do I need for my PADI Drift specialty course? 

Prerequisites: You need to be certified as PADI (Junior) Open Water or equivalent

 

Age:  You are required to be 12 years or older

 

Medical: For all PADI courses you are required to complete the PADI medical form; download it here. You may be required to get clearance from a doctor before the start of any in-water activity so please review the form first. If you have any questions or if you think you will answer "yes" to any questions on page 2 of the form, please get in touch with us.

 

Theory: On payment of the deposit, we will issue you with the PADI E-learning materials.  Simply download the PADI app and you can complete the all the theory at home before you arrive, leaving you more time to enjoy your holiday!

 

PADI Drift Speciality course: 3,000,000 IDR

Includes: 

- Lunch every day of the course

- E-learning and your PADI certification

- Course in a group of maximum 4 students with PADI instructor

- Full use of our rental equipment including dive computer and compass

- Water, tea, coffee and snacks

- All taxes and service fees

Your PADI E-learning material is issued to you when you book. Once issued, it is yours to keep and can be used at any PADI dive centre, but it cannot be refunded.

For courses booking:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before your activity: half refund will be given (minus bank or credit card fees), or you may reschedule according to our availability

  • Cancellation less than 14 days before your activity: no refund will be given, however, you may reschedule according to our availability.
