PADI Advanced - course description

The PADI Advanced course consists of 5 ‘adventure’ dives. Each dive has a theory chapter related to it with a quiz. This course is great fun since you have the choice of which ‘adventure’ dives you want to do, depending on what interests you!

To achieve the Advanced certification, 2 of the 5 training dives are mandatory: Deep dive and Navigation dive. In the navigation dive, you will learn to navigate underwater both naturally and with the use of a compass. In the Deep Dive, you will learn how to dive deeper focusing on safety, how to plan your dives as well as observing the various changes that occur at greater depths.

The remaining 3 training dives, are of your choice! We offer a variety of options here, with plenty of exciting dives to choose from; perhaps perfecting your buoyancy, learning to identify fish, safely dive in currents or a choice of many more.

Find something you really enjoy? The adventure dive you pick for the course can also credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course. We can, for example, certify you as a PADI Advanced Diver and PADI Nitrox Diver with 6 dives in total.

After successful completion of the PADI Advanced Open Water course, you will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters.

Schedule PADI Advanced course:

Advanced course standard - 2 Days:

Meet at 7:30 am. Depending on tides and dive schedule, you will do one day with 2 dives (finish around 1pm) and one day with 3 dives (finish around 3pm)

Advanced course plus – 3 Days:

Every day: Meet 7:30am, for 2 training dives each day. Return around 1pm, where lunch is served at the dive center

What do I need for my PADI Advanced course?

Prerequisites: You need to be certified as PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or an equal level from another organisation)

Age: You are required to be 12 years or older (12-15 year olds will be certified as Junior Advanced Open Water Diver and will have shallower depth limitations)

Medical: For all PADI courses you are required to complete the PADI medical form; download it here. You may be required to get clearance from a doctor before the start of any in-water activity so please review the form first. If you have any questions or if you think you will answer "yes" to any questions on page 2 of the form, please get in touch with us.

Theory: On payment of the deposit, we will issue you with the PADI e-learning materials. Simply download the PADI app, complete the chapter for each of the 5 training dives you will do. All this can be done at home before you arrive, leaving you more time to enjoy your holiday!

PADI Advanced Plus - 6,200,000 IDR - 6 dives (3 days)

Get an extra fun dive at a discounted rate and dive a bit more! For this option we do 2 dives a day for 3 days, giving you a more relaxed pace and an extra fun dive in Nusa Penida! It might also be an opportunity to explore an extra dive site while you are here!

PADI Advanced Plus & Nitrox - 8,200,000 IDR - 6 dives (3 days)

Double the fun and get your PADI Enriched Air Nitrox certification combined with your PADI Advanced Diver certification! This includes the E-learning for both courses, as well as 2 dives on Enriched Air Nitrox

PADI Advanced & Deep Specialty - 9,500,000 IDR - 8 dives (4 days)

Increase your depth limitations by completing the PADI Deep specialty certification combined with your PADI Advanced diver certification! This includes E-learning and all training dives for both courses. You will be certified to dive to 40 meters

All options include:

- Lunch every day of the course

- E-learning and your PADI certification

- Course in a group of maximum 4 students with PADI instructor

- Full use of our rental equipment including dive computer and compass

- Water, tea, coffee and snacks

- All taxes and service fees

Your PADI E-learning material is issued to you when you book. Once issued, it is yours to keep and can be used at any PADI dive centre, but it cannot be refunded.

For courses booking:

Cancellation more than 14 days before your activity: half refund will be given (minus bank or credit card fees), or you have the option to reschedule according to our availability
Cancellation less than 14 days before your activity: no refund will be given, however, you may reschedule according to our availability.
